In the previous blog, I wrote about monitoring your Ring account on your Android or iOS device. Whenever you follow that procedure, you must add new users and maybe more appliances to your Ring account sooner or later. In this article, you will learn about that procedure.
When you first create your Ring account, it is expected that you will add either yourself or someone else as an Administrator.
However, adding more users to the Ring account is convenient, so either your wife or a coworker if you are monitoring your home or a business facility.
In this blog, I will explain how to add users to your Ring account. If you need to have more than one person taking care of the surveillance of your facilities, you can easily add more users to your Ring account.
See below the procedure you can use when someone would like to add more users to the Ring account.
- Go to https://ring.com and login to your Ring Account
- Go to My Dashboard
- Go to Account
- Then Manage Account
- Click on Shared Users
- Choose the location that you want to add users to the Ring account
- Click on Manage
- On the Users bar, click on the plus sign +
- Complete the following information: Email, and add a checkmark to each device you will be granting permission to those users on the Ring account. Click on SEND INVITE.
- You may be requested to verify your identity, so please go ahead and log in again with the Administrator credentials. Click on CONTINUE.
- You will receive a message that the Invitation has been sent to that user. They will need to accept the Invitation and start using the access granted.
- As an Administrator, you will have control of all the users you have granted permissions to your Ring account on your dashboard.
